FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve never done Pilates, can I come?

Absolutely. Many of our classes are designed to accommodate beginners. Look for classes labeled all levels, and don’t be afraid to let your instructor know it’s your first time.

What should I bring?

Bring a water bottle and anything you personally like for your practice. Mats and studio equipment will be available as indicated for each class.

What should I wear?

Whatever you feel comfortable moving in. We recommend clothing that allows you to move freely.

Do I need to bring my own mat?

You may bring your own if you prefer, but CLASS will provide a mat for you!

Where should I park?

All parking is free! There is street parking around the green and further down Whitfield and Water Street. Parking lots can be found behind Char & Lemon and in the public parking lot off Water Street.

What if I’m late?

We love seeing you, but we also want to keep classes safe and uninterrupted.

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before class whenever possible.

Once class has started, late entry may not be permitted depending on the class, instructor, and circumstances. This is especially important for safety and for avoiding disruption to the rest of the room.

If you arrive too late to safely participate, your reservation may be treated as a late cancellation.

How early should I arrive?

For your first class, we recommend arriving about 10–15 minutes early so you have time to get settled.

What if I have to cancel or miss a class?

We get it, plans change!

You may cancel or modify your reservation up to 8 hours before class without penalty.

Cancellations made within 8 hours of class are considered a late cancellation.

Late cancellations will not result in the loss of the class credit associated with the reservation but a $10 late-cancellation fee will apply.

What if I have physical limitations or ailments?

Please let your instructor know before class. Our instructors can provide modifications when appropriate, but CLASS classes are not a substitute for medical care or physical therapy.

Do you offer private classes?

Please reach out to us to get the ball rolling! Not only do we offer private classes, but we would love to do private parties! Think birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or just a private class with all your besties!

Can I bring my phone?

Be here. Be present.

We ask that phones stay on silent and off the studio floor during class so you can fully disconnect and be present in your movement. Need to be reachable? If you’re on call or expecting an important call, you’re welcome to keep your phone with you. Please keep it on silent and step outside the studio to take any calls.

Please also refrain from taking photos or videos during class unless approved by your instructor.

Move. Breathe. Be here.

What footwear do I wear?

Move how you feel best.

For mat-based classes, you are welcome to practice barefoot or in grip socks—whatever feels most comfortable and supportive for your movement.

Regular socks are not recommended on CLASS mats, as they can be slippery and may affect your stability during class.

Please remove shoes before stepping onto your mat and help us keep the studio clean by keeping outdoor footwear off the practice area. Indoor gym shoes can be used for strength classes.

CLASS mats are cleaned and sanitized regularly between classes.

Barefoot, grip socks, your choice.
